Julie and I have decided to spoil you this month of Love, with a special Scheepjes Stonewashed pack of 5 colours, 10 grams each, to try out our very own Be Inspired by Hexagon Flowers pattern. The class is limited to 10 people so that we can give you our utmost attention, and at the time of writing this post, there are only 2 places left. And we only launched it 36 hours ago. Its that special! Our Instagram post of the picture above has had a large number of likes, and requests from around the world for the pattern. We will be loading pattern cards, and kits with the Stonewashed, the week after the class. So keep an eye out if you are not a local lass who can just pop into our Studio in Kloof.

We have  been blown away by the wonderful response to the Scheepjes yarns, especially the Stonewashed, and to date we have sent parcels all over South Africa, and sometimes more than once to THE SAME ADDRESS! (yes, you know who you are! We can picture you staring at your stash, and stroking each ball of yarn lovingly. We know this, because we do it too!)

Please share your makes with us, so we can add them to our gallery of pictures both on our website, and on Facebook.

I have been steadily working on my V-stitch Stonewashed blanket, with the Sue Pinner inspired Dingle Dangles, and will be finished soon. I cannot wait to sew a handmade beech wood tag on it. Watch out for the pics in the next week or so.

Our V-Stitch class with Scheepjes Colour Crafter was splendid. We will be posting pics soon. In the meantime, here is a photo taken by our very own Mrs Jackson and it just epitomizes the soul of our crochet workshops. Thank you Kathryn!

We are very excited to be getting in some NEW Nurturing Fibres. The Freckled Range. It is gorgeous. We cannot wait to start playing with it. We have so much up our sleeves, we really wish we didn’t have to sleep. Look at these and tell us they are not beautiful!

Until next time, I am now going to crochet my African Flowers whilst this weather is so rainy and cool.
