Wooden Darning Mushroom

This Saligna darning mushroom has been hand crafted by a local artisan.

Use it as a base to stitch against when darning socks or other garments. Prevents you from catching the wrong fabric and also acts as a supportive base and something against which to lightly tension the fabric for neater stitching.

PS. Visible mending is a new trend, in line with the culture of slow fashion, and repairing and recycling rather than discarding items.
