Bringing Sexy Back! Be Inspired are bringing the Sox Box back! I have teamed up with Morgan from Luna Fibers and Clay Cloud Creations and together we have created a Sox Box with MORE!
Traditionally, the Be Inspired Sox Box was sock weight yarns, and a knit or crochet pattern, but not necessarily a sock pattern. We are now giving HandKnit Socks the lime-light they deserve, and offering not just a box of yarn, but an experience!
Included with your Sox Box, is entry to all Be Inspired sock knitting workshops for the year – on the deck or on zoom, or both should you so desire. Each box will include a collectable card with an aspect of sock knitting – covering, but not limited to, the following topics (these cards can be filed to create your own build-a-sock-from-scratch library):
measuring and choosing the correct size
different yarns and the tools of the trade
sock recipes for cuff down and toe up
heel variations
toe variations
short sock, long socks, scrappy socks, contrasting heels and toes
cuff design elements
Each box will include:
yarn for your socks – approximately 150 grams / 600 metres
an essential tool
your build your sock library card with a sock knitting technique/element/feature
an artwork disguised as a postcard
a surprise element, because who doesn’t like surprises?

The Mixed Tape Sox Box consists of a 100 gram skein of charcoal slick sock, hand dyed by Luna Fibers, as well as two mini skeins totalling 50 grams of a neon yellow green, and a rainbow pop.
The stitch markers are hand sculpted in polymer clay: a scrunchie, a mixed tape cassette and a test pattern tv set with bunny ears aerial. These are exclusive to this Mixed Tape box and you will not find them anywhere else.
