South African Craft Mag

R59.00

Welcome to the very first issue AND BE INSPIRED IS INSIDE and on the FRONT COVER! During lockdown a lot of us have had spare time on our hands to try out something new. Knitting, crochet, pottery and cardmaking have been amongst the most popular crafts. Others have perfected their baking and there have been a plethora of home-made bread and cake recipes posted across social media.
A leading British retailer reported a 127% increase in sewing machine sales since lockdown began back in March. While some of you have tried your hand at sewing for the first time, others may be more experienced and have been furiously sewing much needed face masks. Whatever your level of expertise, we’ve put together a collection of different crafts for you. Projects this month include a modern Granny stripe crochet blanket, a clay polymer cake topper, turning a vintage teacup into a pretty pincushion, and getting into some furniture restoration by upcycling an old telephone table into a funky kid’s play station.

On the flip side of the magazine is the South African Artist magazine – so two creative mags for the price of one!
