Sock Knitting Heels

Sock knitting HEELS!

Have you knitted a sock but got stuck on the heel? Bring your sock and needles and we will put those heels in together – afterthought heels welcome. Will also knit the Shadow Heel together, and I will explain and demo the Fleegle Heel. For those heels – you need to have your toe up sock ready at heel stage. I am still researching but shadow heel should be around 5cm before the desired total length of foot (eg. foot is 26 cm, then you should have knitted, from toe end, 20 cm or so). Fleegle heel that I will show is from toe up, so gusset is around 5 cm and heel 5 cm so knit to total length less 10cm. Shadow heel is suitable for toe up or cuff down socks.

The workshop will be live, on the deck on Saturday 25th June, 2-4pm (after my morning crochet class) and tea/coffee will be provided.
