Makkie Scarf Set Cape Carnival

If you are looking for a really relaxing, enjoyable knit, that can be taken anywhere and worked on whilst watching or chatting, then the Makkie scarf is it! Holding lace weight kidsilk together with a sock weight gives you a great fabric, using 4mm needles, that works up quickly and with garter stitch feels so squishy and delicious.

The cute icord loop at the end of the scarf is absolutely fabulous for keeping this medium sized scarf around your neck. It is one of my favourite patterns and I have completed one, and am busy with a second and have a third and fourth planned!

Cowgirlblues Kidsilk : 50 grams = 410 metres, 70% kid mohair 30% silk

African Expressions Charmed: 100 grams = 350 metres, 100% merino

(work the Makkie until you have just over half of the Charmed left, then start decreases, otherwise you my run out of the Charmed)
