Luna Kidsilk Merlot

Luna Fibers were hand dyed by the lovely creative Morgan, in South Africa.

Unfortunately, due to health issues, Morgan is currently unable to continue dyeing. These skeins are part of the last of the Luna Fibers stock, which she has entrusted to me to sell for her. The premium price not only reflects their unique beauty, but also, possibly, the last of their kind. Her proceeds from the sale will also help with medical costs and day to day living expenses.

meterage +- 200 metres

approximately 70% kid mohair 30% silk

lace weight, lovely to add to sock weights to blend colours, add a halo, reduce pilling, change colour

1,5 – 2,5 mm (but I like to use a 3mm for lacey effect) if held by itself

doubled up you can use a 3,5-3,75 mm
