We will be dyeing your own speckled yarn using plant matter gathered by Rita Trafford.
DIY Dye Your Own Speckle
Rita Trafford has been running an extremely successful natural dyeing workshop online, during this pandemic which forced many of us to do things differently. I thoroughly enjoyed her class, and asked if if she could create a boxed version for Be Inspired. Rita has taken it to another level, and included everything you need to dye a speckled skein of yarn, as well as a special mini hand dyed by her.
Workshop includes:
100 gram undyed skein of superwash merino
a mini skein naturally dyed by Rita
a Fijn Botanicals natural conditioner for your yarn
components for the dye process
3 different plant materials for the dye process
