Embroidered Gift Bag Stitch Workshop

These gorgeous mini drawstring pre-printed bags have been designed by House of Embroidery and were handmade by the Boitumelo Sewing Project based in Hillbrow, Johannesburg as part as an inner city upliftment program for the community.

They can be used as a sustainable, reusable gift wrapping for small Christmas presents. Instead of using un-recyclable wrapping paper, small gifts can rather be placed inside the embroidered tote bags.

We will be hosting a stitch along on the deck, Friday 7th December, 6-9pm. Tea/Coffee and snacks will be provided (gin is optional, byo, i have lemons and ice!) Included will be the pre-printed bag, a mini Ubuntu hand dyed thread pack, beads, metallic thread for extra bling, and some special little gifts from House Of Embroidery.

Please choose the bag you want when booking. Limited space for 12 people. Space confirmed upon receiving payment. Payment needs to be received by 1st December otherwise space will be reallocated to waiting list.
