Colour Cake Turquoise Turban

Colour Cake and Piece of cake are delicious additions to the Durable assortment. Two colourful new yarns, which can be used in combination together or on its own. The Colour Cake is a beautiful gradient yarn with 4 colours in 1 cake with a length of 1000m, enough for nice big projects. The yarn is a blend of 55% organic cotton and 45% anti pilling acrylic and has a twist. There are 16 different colour combinations available, all inspired by delicious cakes, like carrot cake, truffle cake or cake with wild strawberries.

For the icing on the cake, you can combine the Colour Cake with the Piece of Cake. This is a smaller cake (400m) with the same blend in a single shade, which matches the inner colour of the Colour Cake. Each Colour Cake has it’s own matching Piece of Cake.

Combining the cakes make it possible to extend a project or give it a nice accent. Think about a cardigan in gradient with unicoloured sleeves, a mandala with a unicolour ring, or just extend your shawl made with a Color Cake.

needle/hook size: 2,5 – 3mm (I use a 3,5mm for an even softer drape) – please use a GOOD crochet hook that will not split the yarn, I recommend a Clover Amour.
