New self striping yarn from Schoppel-Wolle, Alb Zauber Extra is a DK yarn with the much-loved Crazy Zauberball dye effect of two gradient strands plied together.
Alb Zauber Extra is made with 75% non-superwash pure wool and 25% biodegradable nylon.
You’ll need 3-4 balls to knit an adult pair of socks.
As Alb Zauber Extra is NOT superwash treated, so it will felt at a higher temperature with a more vigorous washing, making it useful for knitting slippers!
Virgin wool from the Swabian Jura, reinforced with biodegradable polyamide for long-lasting garments (it is nice to know that when discarded, the man-made fibre within this yarn will biodegrade)
